Volunteer activities with the FLC are many and varied:
Regular Work Parties
Adopt-A-Road Trash pick-up, 2nd Saturday of month, 8 a.m., Old
Hwy 395 at Pala Mesa entrance
Native Plant Restoration Team
Meets 8:30 a.m., Wednesdays, Los Jilgueros Preserve
Save Our Forest
3rd Wednesday of month, 8:30 a.m. and last Sunday of month at 7:30 a.m., Village Square
We also need dedicated volunteers for recurring work on a number of our preserves. From trail maintenance to trash pickup, these jobs need someone willing to regularly donate their time. The more volunteers we can get to perform these tasks, the more resources we can dedicate to other conservation projects.
If you're interested in volunteering for any of the above, please contact us using the form below.
In-kind donations of goods and services are always appreciated and help defray costs. Please contact us about your ideas or come by the office during business hours to discuss.
