Mission Statement

Goals:

  • To act as stewards of Los Jilgueros Preserve by:

    •  
    • Promoting respectful and cooperative use of the preserve
    • Maintaining a clean, natural environment
    • Promoting community service involvement in caring for the preserve
    • Promoting respect for and understanding of the flora and fauna which inhabit the preserve
       
  • To increase the Fallbrook Land Conservancy membership base by encouraging users of Los Jilgueros Preserve to participate in annual membership contribution to the FLC
     
  • To encourage volunteerism on behalf of the Fallbrook Land Conservancy

The Friends of Los Jilgueros are dedicated to providing a quality environment for hikers, joggers, bicycle riders and dog walkers.  We are constantly improving Los Jilgueros Preserve and we support the ongoing efforts of the Fallbrook Land Conservancy as one of their Committees.
